Our Story
The Sunshine Family Medicine & Psychotherapy Clinic was born out of the need to provide a solution to the fragmentation of care that is prevalent in the healthcare system today. Having worked for years in both private and government owned hospitals where disjointed care is frequently seen, the founder was moved to create something fresh and unique – a patient centred medical home where both physical and psychological needs can be met.
The name of the clinic is a depiction of the founder’s passion to bring sunshine to the lives of people through innovative family practice and research based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

We provide acute care – the treatment of emergent diseases like migraine and asthma,
* Chronic care - helping you maintain control of incurable illness like hypertension and diabetes, preventive care through periodic and annual health screening and end of life care. All our patients with chronic illnesses are registered in our chronic disease register – to ensure that we proactively anticipate the diseases our patients are at risk for and prevent complications.
* Virtual medical and psychotherapy consultations are available and by the same physician each time to suit your need for continuity.
